“Imwatching - O sorry douchebag, so you didn't mean you killed the cat, you obviously took the batteries out of its Sat Nav so it couldn't find the way home.
I wont say any more as E Badger made the point succinctly enough.”

“by PerrryFarrrel ........."Agreed Mark, it's not nice to shoot someone's pet. But when someone's pet cat killed my neighbour's pet rabbit right in front of a six year old .......Cat didn't make it home"
You should be careful "tough guy", killing someone's innocent pet could be taken very seriously by the owner. If you lay a finger on the wrong cat, you might not be "making it home"."
What do you mean 'tough guy' ? Where did I say I killed the cat ? Idiot. And then you threaten me that if I lay a finger on the wrong cat I may not make it home. Mental case.
As for killing an innocent pet being taken very seriously by the owner. Are you for real ?
The innocent pet was the rabbit.
As for laying a finger on the wrong cat.......the child was playing in a fenced yard with the rabbit when the cat came out of nowhere and mauled the animal.
The hunter became the hunted.”

“why is it that owners of dogs are forced by law o pickup after their pet yet there is no signs up warning owners of cats to responcile after their pets ?”

“E_Badger
You are right about the predatory instincts. However, would you say the same if someones dog killed your cat (if you have one)?
I personally hate cats but wouldn't kill one. A bucket of water does the trick. Especially when it is trying to get in my son's rabbits cage.
If dog owners have to keep their dogs under control then why shouldn't cat owners?”

“[[...But when someone's pet cat killed my neighbour's pet rabbit right in front of a six year old .......Cat didn't make it home. - Imwatching]]
What a really stupid anthroplogical application of human values on a creature of instinct. Was the rabbit securely penned outside, or was it in an open run with "open" invite to every predator in the neighbourhood?
Cats do not have human "right" and "wrong" values. Open penned rabbit equals lunch, or at least something to play with.
However, your selfish denial of a loving owner of perhaps there only companion says much for your levels of compassion.
Perhaps instead of teaching a six year old illogical retribution you should have used the opportunity of demonstrating how cruel Nature can be and that these things just happen if suitable precautions are not taken.”

"Whether you like cats or not shooting somebody's pet is a disgusting things to do. It's not just an attack on the animal it's an attack on the owner."

The hunter became the hunted. Keep your cats at home. Any pets really. No one likes to see dogs roaming around the streets either.”

“I can't stand cats or the people who own them, but I know how devastated I would be if I had to put my pet down because of the actions of some thug.
Anybody who purports to be an animal lover cannot justify this cruel action.”
