Peterborough United v Hull City WILL go ahead
Hull City's match at Peterborough United will go ahead today.
The Championship clash was in doubt yesterday with heavy snow expected for the London Road ground.
But after a pitch inspection this morning, officials confirmed the match would go ahead.
Posh fans were asked to turn out this morning with snow shovels and wheelbarrows to help clear the pitch.

“I seem to recall that in the 1970's, football matches were played on snow-covered pitches with just the markings cleared, and an orange ball that was more visible against the snow than the usual type. Players would sometimes wear their shorts over tracksuit trousers to counter the effects of the cold and any impact with the chilly ground.
Or is my memory playing tricks?”
