The driver of the vehicle, who did stop to help and drove the injured woman home, gave her name as Sandra and also provided a telephone number.

However the number appears to be incorrect and police are now trying to locate her to establish the circumstances of the crash.

The woman driver of the red car, or anyone with information about the collision, is asked to contact PC 509 Rob Sawyers at Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 189 of 21 September 2012.
