Masked men raid Beverley shop as security van delivers cash
Robbers wearing black balaclavas raided a Beverley shop as a security van delivered cash this morning (Tuesday).
Police said three men were involved in the robbery at a shop in Samman Road, on the Swinemoor Estate, shortly before 8.45am.

They took two cartridges of cash and an amount of money from a safe. However, at this time officers are unable to confirm how much money has been stolen.
The robbers made their getaway in a car believed to be a white Audi.

Officers, supported by the force helicopter, are searching the surrounding area this lunchtime.
Nobody in the shop was hurt.
All three men were described as stocky and wearing dark clothes.
Anyone who saw a white car, possibly an Audi, in the area, should call them on 101, quoting log 100 of October 30, 2012.
