BEVERLEY coach Anthony Posa admits his side face a big test of their promotion credentials at Morley tomorrow.

Embarking on the second leg of back-to-back away fixtures, Beverley visit Leeds to face a fellow former National League side.

Having returned from Middlesbrough with a 31-18 win and a try-scoring bonus last weekend, Posa's men are in buoyant mood.

But with the hosts boasting a proud history, he has warned his men about the need to perform well.

Posa said: "To play Middlesbrough and Morley back to back is tough enough, but with both away from home as well, it's a daunting challenge. But it's one I am sure we will be up for.

"At the start of the season I couldn't help but look at the draw and see these back-to-back games as a key stage in where we want to be as a squad.

"There is no doubt we will need to be on top of our game to keep our 100 per cent record alive."

Morley are playing at their lowest level after consecutive relegation seasons and they will no doubt be looking for a swift return to their once lofty heights.

Injuries continue to hamper Beverley in a very physical league, so they will need full use of their squad to achieve their promotion aim.

Outstanding winger Lee Birch is the latest casualty after damaging his foot whilst making an exciting break last weekend.

The good news is that it is not as serious as initially feared, but whilst he shouldn't be out for too long, he definitely will not be making the trip to Morley.

Offsetting that blow somewhat is the expected return of experienced trio Goran Jelencic, Phil DuBoulay and Alex Ogilvie.
