A NUMBER of empty properties have been identified as insecure and open to trespass during recent patch walks conducted by police and Hull City Council officials.

Some goods had been left in properties in Greek St and Rhode St, which have been vacated in preparation to be knocked down as part of regeneration plans.

A total of ten properties have been deemed at risk.

Demolition work has started in the Greek Street/Clyde Street area, which has reduced the number of empty properties.
