EAST RIDING: Pocklington School pupil Louisa Cullen has been awarded a bronze medal as part of a national Junior Maths challenge – the Junior Maths Olympiad.

Nationally, just 120 bronze medals were awarded in the competition, run by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust.

Pupils James Laudage and Tom Baarda both received certificates of participation in the competition. They were among 1,200 qualifiers nationally from an original entry of a quarter of a million students.
