"With peak flights comes peak demand so we have had to work very hard with British Airways to secure this, however we would not take no for an answer."
Jim Keegan, British Airways regional customer service manager for UK regions and Ireland, said: "This means our Yorkshire customers can enjoy a quick and seamless journey through our dedi- cated terminal at Heathrow."

“As discussed previously it is far easier to fly from Humberside to Amsterdam for onward connections. Amsterdam doesn't usually cancel flights because of a couple of centimetres of snow either. It never ceases to amaze me that Britain grinds to a halt every winter - how come other countries seem to be able to cope with much more snow?”
