I did enjoy this story with its powerful message of love threaded through it and its believable characters, but I did feel one step ahead of the plot for a good portion of the book, which was a bit annoying because it had me mentally urging everyone to get on with it – and the outcome was I expected.
I prefer a tale that keeps me guessing and surprises with its ending.
