Ring-rusty, but Ricky Dudding still has the silky skills
AFTER nine months out of the ring, Ricky Dudding says a taste of the action has left him eager for more.
Dudding beat Janis Puksins on points at the Sports Arena to kick-start his career again after a run of injuries left him on the sidelines since March.

"I cannot wait to get back out again and I'm ready to really push on now that I'm back and fit.
"I'll enjoy Christmas, but I'll stay in the gym and then look to get back out as soon as possible.
"After nine months it felt a little weird at first and there was a bit of ring rust, but I was more than happy with my display."
Against an opponent who didn't want to know after an early sample of Dudding's power, the 22-year-old dominated his bout with Puksins.
Having to fight at distance with Puksins backing off, Dudding was made to force the issue, but did so with ease, using his speed and footwork to dominate his more-experienced opponent.
"I felt really comfortable in there and I knew from the first round that he had no chance of beating me," added Dudding.
"I caught him with a few backhands and once he felt my power he wouldn't come forward and was scared.
"I should have probably got more punches away when I got in close to him, but for now, I'm just really happy with the win."
