A COTTINGHAM yob who spat in a man's face after being challenged over his driving has been given an eight-week suspended prison sentence.

Mr O'Connor, 35, shook his head as Klein went past.
He said: "I was driving down Willerby Road and Klein went flying by.

"When he was turning off, I shook my head at him."
Klein later followed him to a petrol station before swearing and spitting at him.
Mr O'Connor said: "I pulled into the Tesco petrol station in Kingston Road.
"I saw him drive by again with two of his mates in the car.
"As I came out of the petrol station, he was parked facing me, next to my car.
"I just froze. He was snarling and swearing at me.
"He stood up in the car – it was a convertible – and spat right in my face."
Mr O'Connor, a father of four, said he was glad his family were not with him.
He said: "I was more shocked than anything, because I couldn't believe he had done it.
"He was an absolute lunatic. I was a bit shocked and a bit scared – you don't think it's going to happen to you."
Mr O'Connor contacted the police and Klein was arrested days later.
He was charged with assault and a public order offence.
This was not the first time he had come to the attention of police.
Klein has previous convictions for theft, criminal damage and spitting in the face of a police community support officer.
On Friday, October 19, a judge at Beverley Magistrates' Court gave him an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for two years.
Klein was also ordered to pay Mr O'Connor £150 in compensation, do 40 hours of community service and given an Asbo banning him from behaving threateningly.
PC Andy White, of Kirk Ella neighbourhood policing team, led the investigation into Klein's behaviour.
He said: "It was disgusting. There had been some swearing and shouting and he spat in Mr O'Connor's face.
"It had really shaken Mr O'Connor up.
"I'm really pleased he has been dealt with by the courts. Klein has obviously got a problem with his anger management. He had a similar road rage incident in Cottingham."

“madhead911, I dont think people are judging him on the road rage incident...more the fact the dirty little half breed spat in some ones face. Vulgar. Also spell checking your post prior to posting would be great too, or possibly going back to school to learn a little basic english.”

“Weekslider,
You missed a very important point regarding this spitting matter...
The average male mini convertible driver is liable to have spent a great deal of time giving *******s to sailors, hence major hygiene concerns in this spitting lark..”

“I don't care if he has a fit lass or a larda$$ lass, or what car he drives! What difference would that make? apart from being disgusting, does he actually know that spitting in peoples faces can actually spread diseases?, even the ones he could be immune to, and luckily the victim did not have a supressed immune system, that infantile action could have put the victim in serious danger, then we could have been reading about this idiot facing a whole lot of different charges, he should have thought about that. But you can't tell a moronic knuckeldragger that can you?”

“Two scenarios
This halfwit will hit some inoccent bystanders and kill or maim them, and the victims will have my sympathy.
This halfwit will hit a tree and kill himself and anyone stupid enough to get into the car with him, and the tree will have my sympathy.
How does he afford a car like that, does he have a job? If so what does his employer think of all of this?”
