Roads across city will be affected by gas works

NORTHERN Gas Networks is planning a wave of roadworks in the city centre from January to June.

Roads will not be closed but some carriageways may have temporary traffic lights in place to control vehicles.

The following roads will be affected: Albion Street, Story Street, King Edward Street, West Street, South Street, Jarrat Street, Bowl Alley Lane, Land of Green Ginger, Manor Street and Lowgate at the junction of Alfred Gelder Street.

Northern Gas Networks currently has works in place in Holderness Road and Wilton Street.
