Flooding has caused a number of road closures in East Yorkshire.

The A165 between Grindale Road and B1229, in Grindale, near Bridlington is closed.

Grange Road, in Leconfield, is shut both ways between A164 Main Street and The Hayride Pub.

However, the region is likely to miss the heavy rain affecting the south of the UK.

In East Yorkshire it will be mostly cloudy, windy and quite cold day with rain at times.

Tonight will see more light rain or sleet near the east coast.

There is a risk of frost and ice as temperatures drop to -1C.
