East Hull roadworks will affect traffic
Major roadworks at the junction of Marfleet Lane and Preston Road, east Hull, will start tomorrow.
Westbound traffic will be affected for several days by the continuing gas works improvements.

One of the westbound lanes on Preston Road will be closed and is likely to affect the traffic flow up to the junction with Marfleet Lane.
Motorists are urged to seek alternative routes.
However, disruption to drivers leaving the city will be eased as work has been completed on the eastbound carriageway and the temporary road closure removed.

“why only publish this now roadworks have been happening on this junction for the past 2 weeks with not being able to get into greatfield and then it was reduced to single file leaving greatfield. The trafic lights are on a one at time basis! its a nightmare!”
