Promising Hull rockers Lavellion will launch their new EP next week.

The foursome will debut the new five-track release Fuel To The Fire at The Lamp, in Norfolk Street, Hull, next Wednesday, providing the launch pad for what the band hopes will be an exciting 12 months.

Bassist Nick Tyldsley said he believed the new tracks were the best of the quartet's career so far.

He said: "The EP is definitely the best thing we've released and shows a real progression in our sound. Although we started off as a more straightforward rock band, I'd say we've developed more into alternative rock band now."

The band are now looking forward to filming a video for the EP's lead track Be Everything and touring this summer.

The launch will feature support acts Fado Rock and Abbie Lammas, as well as a number of acoustic performers, who will be entertaining throughout the night.
