Royal to open hearing dog centre
The Princess Royal was visiting East Yorkshire today to open a new dog training centre.
Princess Anne is making the visit as patron of the charity Hearing Dogs For Deaf People.
She will officially open the charity's new £2.5m purpose-built training centre at Bielby, near Pocklington.
The Royal visitor will tour the site to see the kennels, accommodation block and specially-designed training houses.
Jenny Moir, charity spokeswoman, said: "We are delighted to welcome our Royal patron to officially launch the new training centre.
"Her Royal Highness will also meet several deaf people who have benefited from hearing dogs."
