Sandercock: Hull KR's returning stars key to Widnes win
HULL KR coach Craig Sandercock praised the contribution of his three returning stars for their role in the 44-18 demolition of Widnes at Craven Park.
Full-back Greg Eden, centre Kris Welham and loose forward Rhys Lovegrove all passed fitness tests to play.

Greg Eden scores for Hull KR on his return
For Eden and Welham, it was their first action of the season and both marked their returns with a try, much to the delight of Sandercock.
"The key was having some quality players back in the side," Sandercock said.

"Having Greg, Kris and Rhys back in the team certainly helped. They are class players and they all made an impact for this win.
"We miss them when they are not in the team, it's as simple as that."
Eden and Welham's first-half tries helped Rovers into a 34-0 half-time lead and Sandercock was pleased with the way his side came out of the blocks in the first period.
"I was very happy with the first 40 minutes," he explained. "We controlled the game and scored some very nice tries.
"It all goes back to possession. When you defend set after set, like we did in the first two games, it's awfully hard to defend.
"When you have an even share of the ball, and at half-time we had more of the ball, that gave us more energy.
"The start was about getting in the contest and not give away cheap possession.
"We did that and it was pleasing to get into a healthy lead. I'll take that every week.
"The second half was a bit disappointing, though, as we seemed to give away penalties and we didn't respect possession enough.
"But I want to concentrate on the positives and the first half laid the platform to the win.
"If you look at the first two games, we had chances to win both. We now need to back this up next week against Salford."

“To be honest, If I was a supporter I wouldn't be gloating about anything.
Adam Pearsons silence
Adam Pearsons desire to get back into football.
The SMC being handed back to the council.
FC having to find an extra 500,000 a season to pay the SMC
On top of them losing money left right and centre.
FC fans seem more interested in name calling then they do in the Club they support.
Crazy.
Attacking the Allams BECAUSE Adam Pearson did not care enough about Johnny Whiteley = the biggest own goal in history.
Why does ' fairy slammer ". Copy and paste the same Mumbo Jumbo on all the threads ?
He's a lunatic...”

“Oh dear auntie Slammer, you just don't get it do you,the reason the Dobbins falter against bottom of the ladder teams is not complacency it's because the Dobbins are themselves a bottom of the ladder team and are no better than the Broncos,Salford,Widnes or Castleford.
Get used to it, you support a team of cast-offs,rejects and journeymen who will once again finish outsidde the top eight.
The fact that Caro and Paterson star in your team shows the level to which the Dobbins have sunk.
NEVER MIND,AUNTIE SLAMMER ASSURES US THAT HER FRIEND,TONY LARVIN'S MILLIONS WILL BE IN THE DOBBIN'S BANK SHORTLY,AFTER ALL LARVIN SUPPOSEDLY GAVE AUNTIE SLAMMER A COPY OF HIS PLAN FOR CARAVAN PARK. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA”

“HCAFCscarb. It doesn't take much to asses the state of eddy'd mental health does it?
Have you noticed he has nothing to say with regard to the current uncertainty at his club Gateshull (est.1998)? He masks it with a blanket of obsessive abuse. He gets plenty of green arrows from the dullers too.
So much for care in the community.
Bridrob.

“Todays Omari article seems to have a problem so I will make my comment on here:
bridrobin, totally agree and there's alot more to come from Omari.
Following up on the revelation the SMC have bought a wad of fcs season passes, if every pass was added to the total fc disclosed then by my reckoning there is an unlucky darksider out there (No. 10,000) who has missed out on the ten thousand pounds AP promised to that supporter. Just a thought.”

“3biesgalore
You need to update .
Adam Pearsons last statement to the media was he wants to get back into football
His desire would be to take over at Leeds united or Huddersfield.
Considering he refused to pay his way at the KC and his desire to get back into Football
Then his days as FC owner seemed to be coming to a close.
His problem of course I finding a buyer for FC who are losing money every day..And who now look like having to pay £500,000 a year to stay at the KC stadium.
I would be very worried if I was a supporter of Hull FC.
Obviously higher ticket prices will be one way for FC get to get some cash back.
Or they might have to move to some place cheaper .
.............
Forget Spock , he just seems to invent a different story every time he posts.
According to him I'm not a Hull City supporter....lol”
