Sarah Beeny in new plan for Rise Hall Wedding Venue
TV property makeover show presenter Sarah Beeny has submitted new plans to modernise part of her East Yorkshire home.
Her latest application for Rise Hall at Rise, near Withernwick, includes proposals to carry out repairs and improvement work at a cottage in the hall's grounds.

The work, which includes fitting a new window, installing two internal doors and partitions to create two bathrooms, requires listed building consent because of the hall's historic importance.
Ms Beeny, who has previously clashed with council planners over unauthorised changes at the property, presented a recent Channel 4 series charting her efforts to convert part of the hall into a wedding and hotel venue.

“HDM.... applying to install a window and a couple of doors in a cottage hardly matches the headline 'New plans for wedding venue'. This is a non-story.”
