EAST RIDING: A new scheme is being trialled in some of the region's villages to save families money through energy efficiency.

East Riding Council has teamed up with Yorkshire Energy Partnership to trial the project in Snaith, Rawcliffe and Airymn.

The scheme will support residents affected by the recent rise in energy bills by helping with the cost of installing renewable energy, such as solar panels.

To sign up, visit www.eastriding.gov.uk/energysavers or call 01904 545020 quoting Energy Savers scheme.
