Science 'busking' at St Stephen's shopping centre in Hull
HULL: Researchers, students, apprentices and industrial scientists will be joining forces for some science "busking" today
The event, dubbed Sixty Second Science, is taking place at St Stephen's shopping centre and will give shoppers the chance to learn more about the science behind novel gizmos, including a sonic slinky toy and a magnet that appears to defy the law of gravity. The discovery of DNA will be demonstrated using sweets, which will then go on sale, with proceeds going to Comic Relief.
