Scott Murrell has two offers to consider following release from Hull KR
SCOTT Murrell looks set to continue his career in the top flight with three Super League clubs keen to sign him following his release from Hull KR.
Murrell, who turns 27 tomorrow, hopes to be fit enough to make his final KR appearance at London on Sunday.
-

IN DEMAND: Departing KR star Scott Murrell.
His agent, Craig Harrison, has been busy looking for a new club for Murrell, who was told he would not be offered a new deal last month.

"Hull KR suddenly withdrew an offer of two more years about a month ago, which was a surprise," Harrison told the Mail.
"There are now two offers on the table for Scott and it's up to him to decide. I expect the market to pick up a lot in the coming days and weeks, as it has been held up by Bradford's situation."

Another black and white Girlie bird who comes on the comments page spouting rubbish and showing they know next to nothing.
Galea was not pomised a deal, the fact is he wanted more than what rovers were prepared to pay given the fact that he wanted one more year before retiring , the same applied to Macdonell who wanted silly money even though he was never considered good enough to hold down a reguar place in the NRL .
With regards to Green, it was Wigan that made the approach which was to good to turn down, plus rovers have an excellent replacement in Travis burns, good busines all round.
I would be more concerned about your own club (Hull fc) who are borrowing and spending huge sums of money like its going out of fashion, not to dissimilar a route as to what the Bradford Bulls took which regetably was much to their cost and something that could also quite easily happen to Hull Fc if their gamble of trying to buy success in their current manner doesn't pay off.
Back to the initial topic of Murrell, he is a very good player, not blessed with pace but a very good defensive player with a good kicking game and a pretty decent rugby brain to boot, Halifax fans will not be dissapointed with this signing and i'm sure he will become a fans favourite there.
Watch out for those big hits which have become somewhat of a speciality of his in the past, all the best Scotty at your new home.”

“Murrell has only been offered a salary of 25K and 30K pa by the two clubs. Not great really is it. Decent player but nothing more than that so he may struggle to get anything decent!”

“Quote "Hull KR suddenly withdrew an offer of two more years about a month ago, which was a surprise," Harrison told the Mail.
Galea was also promised a deal.
So this is how KR treat there players who have being loyal to them, this is why the likes of Green, Dobson McDonnell, Taylor want out.
That and the fact the club is skint.”

“FrillySlammer. Serial Offenders!!! you having a laugh? think a little bit before you post rubbish.
Which team played an ineligible player not too long ago?
Should I put ha.ha.ha. on this..no,that would be very childish!
Perhaps the HDM could get a grip on the serial posters who post junk and kick them off this site, and leave it available to the majority of sensible Rovers and FC fans who have something worthwhile to say instead of just bile and venom.
PS.Thanks to the Rovers players moving on, best wishes for your futures.”

“Just been browsing on rl fans wigan and noticed a thread on hull kr fans, giving nothing but praise to the rovers fans saying how much they enjoyed the day and commended us for our sporting behaviour when their team was given a rousing reception by the east stand for winning the league leaders shield. They also thanked hull fc fans for smashing up their coaches when they visited the KC.Interesting what other teams think of us isn't it !!!”
