HUMBERSIDE firefighters faced a huge industrial fire just last month.

More than 70 firefighters in nine engines tackled the blaze at the Montracon haulage trailer plant in Market Weighton on August 17.

It is believed the fire started in the factory's composite panel shop.

There were also concerns pressurised cylinders containing highly flammable acetylene could catch light.

The site was quickly evacuated and there were no injuries.

Police officers and a helicopter were also sent to the blaze.

Firemen had the flames under control within a couple of hours but crews remained on site for several hours.
