Sequence of events that led to departure
February 29 – Elizabeth Logan leaves Cottingham High School after a meeting with governors. The school declines to comment on the matter and Mrs Logan says she has no idea what is going on.
March 7 – The head says she hopes to return to the school soon.
March 9 – Mrs Logan says she has had a "constructive meeting" with governors.
March 19 – Parents are told an independent investigation is under way.

No it didn't.
HDM April 2011: Cottingham High School has been rated "satisfactory" by the Government regulator, after being judged "good" at its previous inspection in 2007.
