Seriously injured cyclist airlifted to hospital

A cyclist has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in East Yorkshire this morning.

The man was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by air ambulance after the accident on the A614 near Market Weighton.

The crash happened at 10.20am and the A1079 York Road is closed in both directions.
