East Yorkshire faces a severe weather warning for the start of the bank holiday weekend tomorrow.

The Met Office's "yellow" alert warns people to be aware of spells of heavy rain and thundery showers, which could potentially cause surface flooding.

More rain is expected today. Forecasters say it will be brighter this afternoon, with further showers this evening.

The outlook for Sunday to Tuesday is also for more wet weather although there could be some dry spells.
