The whole concept of building on greenfield sites is absolutely wrong.
This Government and the previous Government seem to think what we need to do is keep having growth. They think we can do that by keeping on building on greenfield sites.

The construction industry has been lobbying very hard but we need to take the long view and consider the food needs of this country.
We have to move towards being sustainable and more self reliant. At the moment, we are importing more food when we should be growing more of our own.

We need all the land we have got, we should not be building on it.
