On the A63 East bound, under the Humber bridge sits a silent killer, on the right hand side just near the central reservation there are drains, following a vehicle this morning when they hit this pothole covered with water the car must have sank a good 5 inches then swerved narrowly missing a lorry in the lane next to it. I cannot believe it has been allowed to get this bad. It is by one of the drains, many are sinking but this one is the worst! I know where it is and stick tightly to the white lines but this should not be allowed, if a motorbike or a less experienced driver hits it, It Will Kill!

“I drive all over england and wales and can honestly state that Hull as the worst maintained roads of all, the Highways department and Council should be utterly ashamed, something should be done before their neglect becomes responsible for somebodies death!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“How close are drivers to the central reservation that they hit the drains?

The road at this point narrows quite substantially so they could build it between Redcliff Road and the Train Station. Both lanes are far narrower around this point.”

“I was over taking a lorry that is what i was going in the outside lane.
Take a drive down the a63, the pot holes are inline with the drains but further into the middle of the road”

“Why are you driving in the outside lane?

How close are drivers to the central reservation that they hit the drains?

Andy243: "is this what we pay our taxes for?"

    Yes, amongst many other things.

Adam089 - No need to get so worked up and insecure over the red/green arrow thingy, as it is open to massive manipulation [some posts have 1,000s of arrows] and in any case, is relevant only for secret media purposes related to advertising.”
