Snow: Disruption likely for Monday morning rush-hour
DRIVERS should allow extra time for their Monday morning commutes as a band of light, but persistent snow edges towards East Yorkshire, say the Met Office.
Accumulations of between 1cm and 5cm are expected, with up to 5cm on higher ground.
According to the Met Office, a few light snow showers can be expected this afternoon, with a heavier band due to hit Hull and the East Riding from around 7pm.
