Special Smiles is a charity that caters for children who have a mental or physical disability.

It was set up in 2010 by Kevin and Sandra Jennings, whose daughter Yasmin, 15, is severely autistic, with a mental age of three.

They set it up as a way of bringing together other families in a similar situation. It was born from feeling isolated and uncomfortable when taking their daughter out, because of the stares she would attract.

Rebecca's mum Jill says the group allows her daughter to do all sorts of activities without feeling she is being stared at.
