Speed limit for schools' road
An advisory 20mph speed limit will be introduced on a road with two schools in Winterton.
North Lincolnshire Council made the decision to introduce the speed limit on West Street as part of a package of improvements along West Street to keep children safe when travelling to and from school.

Both Winterton Infant School and Winterton Junior School are on West Street.
Other measures include introducing enforceable parking restrictions including no-waiting and stopping zones, high profile signs and road markings. West Street and nearby streets have also been resurfaced as part of the overall improvements.

The work includes signs and lines that will be put in place in the next few weeks.
Traffic regulation orders will be enforced and flashing lights will accompany the advisory 20mph speed limit from Monday, September 10 to fit in with various other work.
The restrictions include an advisory 20mph speed limit on a section of West Street from Monday to Friday at 8.30am to 9.30am and 3pm to 4pm.
