Spring Bank attack victim remains in Hull Royal
A man remains in hospital with head injuries following a New Year's Day attack in Hull.
The victim, 32, went to Hull Royal Infirmary in a taxi, where he was found to have suffered a fractured eye socket and other head injuries.

He is still in hospital but his injuries are not described as life-threatening.
Humberside Police are investigating the attack, which happened either inside or close to the Relax Bar in Spring Bank at about 5am on Tuesday.

The area was cordoned off for much of the day while forensic teams combed the scene.
No witnesses have come forward and there is no description of the attacker.
