Stingrays' Cloutier ponders team-change options
COACH Sylvain Cloutier is pondering team changes as Rapid Solicitors Hull Stingrays' Elite League campaign reaches the halfway point.
Stingrays have won just one of their last 10 games to sit bottom of the overall table, but joint second in the Gardiner Conference.
They do have games in hand on their rivals, but Cloutier is not happy with his side's current fortunes.
"We're not changing right now, but we'll see what develops before the January 31 deadline," said the Rapid Solicitors Stingrays' coach. "I'm always looking at forwards and defencemen to see what's available, just in case."

The ideal scenario would be to carry a "spare" import to allow for injuries and Cloutier to coach on the sidelines.
"I'd love to carry an extra import and go behind the bench, that would probably be the best scenario, but we just don't have the funds for that," said Cloutier.
Stingrays have been linked with a move for Derek Campbell, who plied his trade in Hull last year.
He was axed by EPL side Sheffield Steeldogs pre-Christmas and joined Manchester as injury cover.
However, the Mail understands that Campbell is not on the club's agenda.

“When you consider Stingrays' monthly budget is around £10k compared with Belfast's £200k, you can see just how difficult the next month will be if Clouts looks for changes.”
