Stingrays set to sign Canadian McIntosh
Hull Stingrays' coach Sylvain Cloutier has stressed the signing of Colin McIntosh is not yet a "done deal."
The 24-year-old Canadian forward's Northland College team-mates have already been tweeting their congratulations on his move to Britain for the 2012-13 season.
However, Cloutier told the Mail late last night as far as he is concerned that is premature.
He said: "I've been talking to him, and I've got the word from his agent that the deal is agreed, but you never know until you get the contract with a player's signature on it. Even then you can still sign a player and he goes elsewhere."
