COACH Sylvain Cloutier has unveiled four signings as part of a tough, faster and younger Hull Stingrays for the 2012-13 campaign.

They are led by new number one netminder Ben Bowns, who has signed a two-year deal from Sheffield Steeldogs.

He is joined by fellow Steeldogs Janis Ozolins and Chris Sykes in making the step up into the Elite League from the English Premier League.

The fourth signing is goal machine Canadian Jereme Tendler, returning for a third season on a two-year deal, having already notched up nearly 80 goals for the club.

Cloutier said: "I'm trying to recruit a team that will be faster, and have more speed and toughness, and hopefully what will be a good mix of youth and experience."
