Support groups for sufferers
BACK when Marg Oaten started Seed in 2002, the information out there for families struggling to deal with eating disorders was scarce.
Now Seed runs support groups and workshops for eating disorder sufferers and gives advice and help to their supporters.
"At the end of the day, it is a mental health illness. People tend to focus on the physical side," Marg says.
Many sufferers, like Amelia, do not have the confidence to come into the centre but use the phone and email buddy service and online support.
