Supporters are signing up for City cause
TIGERS fans have thrown their full support behind the Mail's
new charter,
calling on people to back the team through thick and thin this
season.
Fans of all ages are signing up to the

to show their commitment to the club.
It calls for fans to support the team vociferously, home and
away, and to back the team all the times, no matter what.
Die hard fan John Adams said it is crucial the team receive
complete support in their first season in the top flight of
English football.
Celebrating the play-off victory over Watford last season,
he slipped and broke his neck. John spent months wearing a neck
brace screwed into his skull.
Despite the pain, he went to see his team secure their place
in the Premier League with victory over Bristol City in the
play-off final at Wembley.
The 34-year-old, of east Hull, said he was delighted to sign
the Mail's

John, a season ticket holder, said: "If I can go to Wembley
with a broken neck, the least people can do is show their
support for the team.
"The

way to get supporters to stick with the team.
"There are a lot of new fans this year and they have to
remember that supporting Hull City is for life, not just for a
season.
"I wouldn't let a broken neck stop me and that is what it
means to be a Hull fan.
"I've had the ideal preparation for the kick-off – I got my
neck brace taken off last week. "Win, lose, or draw – I'll
stick with the Tigers."
Tony Conway, regional director of the Official Hull City
Supporters Club, is also behind the fans' charter.
Tony, who has followed the Tigers for more than 50 years,
said: "No matter what happens, we have to keep behind the club
and keep going.
"There have been some hard times, but the proper fans have
always stuck with the club.
"There are a lot of new supporters who don't know about the
bad times.
"We can be a 12th man for them and let the lads know we will
stick with them all the way."
The Mail will be at the KC Stadium tomorrow, giving fans a
chance to sign the

“Fulham are really interesting. Roy Hodgson did a brilliant job to keep them up and his chairman has decided to really back him by bringing in strikers such as Bobby Zamora and Andrew Johnson as well as plenty of other new players.
But promoted teams can be horrible to play in the first six games because each one is like a cup final for them and there will be a fantastic atmosphere at the KC - and I'm tipping Phil Brown's Hull to get off to a winning start.
I predict the score to be 1 - 0 to Hull.”
