A teaching assistant who had an affair with a pupil at a scandal-hit Bridlington school has been jailed.

Christopher Reen, 32, became the fifth member of staff at Headlands School to be accused of being sexually involved with a pupil.

Judge David Tremberg, sitting at Grimsby Crown Court, jailed him for three years and four months.

Reen previously admitted six counts of sexual activity with a child and of having sex with a person under 18 while in a position of trust.
