Teenage boy hit by knife in Savoy Road, east Hull
A teenage boy escaped injury after he was chased by a man wielding a knife.
The victim, 15, was with a friend in Holderness Road, between 9pm and 10pm on Thursday, September 20.

They walked towards Ings Road and the Crooked Billet pub, visited a Chinese takeaway and then turned on to Ings Road, where they were approached by a man and woman.
An argument ensued, along with some pushing and shoving. A silver-coloured car stopped briefly before moving off.

The victim and his friend turned on to Savoy Road towards Asda where a black sports car pulled up along side them and four unknown middle-aged men got out of the car.
One of the boys ran off and was chased by the men, one of which threw a knife at the teenager, hitting his left side.
Fortunately, he escaped without injury and contacted the police.
Anyone with information about the incident should call Humberside Police on 101, referring to log number 768 of September 20.

“Not much detail about why an argument started. Had the kids lobbed a brick over the road at the couple, were the couple narked at some lip the lads gave. Were the lads doing nothing wrong at all and the couple tanked up? Even for East Hull, though, things are getting very dodgy out there..”

“You know what really gets me as that they even bother to put this on here Hull has more cctv then any other city on this planet. My local shop is 200 yards away and im on 4 street cctv cameras just going to the shop. So you cant tell me they havent got the black car with four men on cctv. Why doesnt someone at humberside police just do some work they know the time of the incident and where it took place that car didnt appear out of thin air. Or is dealing with smack heads and drunken idiots as far as humberside police go.”
