Will Tour de France cross the Humber Bridge in race through Yorkshire?
East Yorkshire will find out in the next hour if the world's greatest cycle race will travel through the area.
The Tour de France will start in Yorkshire for the first time in its history, with the best cyclists in the world racing through the region on July 5 and 6.
Details of the Grand Depart are due to be announced in Paris this morning, with Harrogate and York Racecouse expected to feature as part of the route over the two days.
Although Leeds will host the Grand Depart, it is hoped the peleton could cross the iconic Humber Bridge or race across the Yorkshire Wolds.

More than three billion people watch the Tour de France on television every year so landing a section of the route would be a major coup for East Yorkshire.
As well as showcasing the area to a global audience, it would also generate millions for the economy as the Tour's entourage arrive to cheer on the cyclists.
• Disappointment as East Yorkshire misses out on Tour De France

“Like everything else we in the EAST are poor relatives. Just like the M62 and the proposed electrification of the railways, everything seems to end at the Ridings border.”
