THE M62 is closed westbound this morning between North Cave and Howden after an accident in the early hours.

Diversions are in place between Junction 38 and Junction 37 because of accident investigation work.

The road is expected to reopen at about 9am.

Meanwhile, traffic is very slow eastbound at Junction 37 at Howden after a lorry shed a load of logs. A temporary speed limit is in place.
