“It sounds as though Campbell was running around with his head up his ass and apparently it remained firmly wedged up there at 11pm! Bit of poetic justice if you ask me although I wouldn't be surprised if his agent was partly to blame for trying to squeeze some more cash out of the situation, serves both of them right.”

“I was going to tell Merlin he should become an actor due to him taking on all these alternate personnas quite well. Or, is schizophrenia setting in in his old age? Just jokin' with ya Merlin, I'm not the "attacking" type :-)
SCARB...totally appreciated your updates on the Tigers progress during the transfer window today. Now, it's back to the pitch and we should be in for an interesting game on Saturday. I'm really curious what our lineup will be.”

my female friend says you should write for a living..
You sure can do great and amusing posts...
Scooter was safe and snug in scooter house,
you shouldnt be hanging around outside the KC at that time of night anyway
you should have been sat at home in your slippers having a cup of cocoa...”

“SSN even stated that they don't know if DJC signed with Blackburn "on time". This one's going to "instant replay"...one of those American Football ways of dealing with situations like this..."instant replay". Did the paperwork hit the inbox before 11pm?.....well, from my angle it looks to be 0.2 seconds late Martin, and it may have left the courier's possession before it hit the desk.”

“Did DJ Campbell end up at Blackburn after all? I don't see him on this list. I suppose none of us care anyway, but after all the great tracking some of you lads did, did this guy end up going nowhere? Crazy.
Guesses at the starting lineup for Saturday?
I'll be glued to my laptop Saturday morning, following the "text commentary" as it's the best I can do from NorCal.”

“Well done to SB and the owners for not wasting money. The lack of signing a striker on a permanent deal is not the end of the world. The loan market opens next week and if we can do some astute business in the coming weeks (ensuring any loan signing is available to the end of any potential play off games) then I for one will be happy. I am sure some fringe premier league strikers will become available and will be worth a gamble... why not make an enquiry for Marcus Bent at Villa as he seems to be ignored no matter what he does... any other suggestions on strikers??? Lets remain positive and get behind the players for the rest of this season and hopefully we'll be back in premier league next season.”

“well we did some great business Meyler and Brady on permenant deals, the 2 Egyptian lads which is also great for tapping into a future unrealized market, and the key piece getting Elmo back.
Not over paying for DJ or Fraser Campbell or Phillips will be non-money well spent, some really good business by Mr. Bruce and the staff and kudos to the Allams for investing in our teams future once again, now back to business and 3 points Saturday !”
