West Hull road reopened after repairs to burst water main
A road which was closed due to a burst water main has now been re-opened.
Fairfax Avenue in west Hull was shut yesterday while Yorkshire Water had to carry out emergency repairs to the six inch pipe.
The road was re-opened in the late evening in time for the rush hour traffic this morning.
The pipe burst on Tuesday evening and some customers had experience low water pressure in their taps.
In was closed from Cottingham Road to Fairfield Road throughout most of Wednesday.
