Poppy collection stolen on Remembrance Sunday

The thief was described as white, with brown hair and wore a red jacket. He was pushing a pram.
It happened as staff attended to customers elsewhere in the store.
Mark Richardson, managing director of Wynsors, said: "This is a heartless act by a criminal who has shown no respect for the men and women from the Armed Forces and their families.
"We will be making a donation to the British Legion to make up for the stolen funds."
The thief was caught on CCTV fleeing the scene with the box. He was described as white, with brown hair and wore a red jacket. He was pushing a pram.
Humberside police are appealing to people with information to contact them on 0845 60 60 222.

“Don't waste time lockin' 'im up in HM Prisons. He stole from a charity to benefit military veterans. I suggest he be given the following options:
1: Stick 'im in a military prison for 2 years.
2: Ship 'im out to Baghdad for 6 months. No weapons other than a poin-ted stick and put 'im on patrol with the heroes he stole from.”

“Typical dross that shames Britain. His life is utterly pointless as is many in this once fine country. He should do mine clearence duties in the Stan and with luck soon become pink mist. God bless all serving, ex British Military and the many genuine people of Hull who are appauled by this low life.”

“Remembrance Sunday is about reminding the countless millions of people who died in two pointless wars.
Yet the comments here reflect that the answer should be "let kill him". It's so nice to see humans are quite vile people. With attitudes like that it not a shocked we continue to engage in more pointless wars and killing each other.
The Royal British Legion has only been able to raise about £4.3 million this year. Now that a rather insulting number when compare what most people waste their money, i.e. smoking, their cars, nights out etc. On a national level I feel the population could honestly give more!!!
The shop should have the sense to keep the money box under a chain so it cannot be simple walk off with.
Also how do you know there was £60 in the pot? If you counted the amount, surely you¿ll just keep it in the till and hand it over when they come to collect.”
