Victim suffers serious facial injuries in Ella Street robbery
WEST HULL: A man in his 50s was robbed and beaten up on his way home from a night out.
The man, 55, was walking home from a public house in Newland Avenue and was walking down an alleyway in Ella Street.

He doesn't recall anything else, but found himself feeling dizzy and disorientated.
He lost consciousness in a nearby garden and then discovered his mobile phone, wallet and keys were missing.

The victim's wife went looking for him and took him to Hull Royal Infirmary, where he was treated for a fractured forehead, cheek bone and nose and bruising to his head and face.
Two men aged 21 and 20 have been arrested and questioned.
Anyone with information about the attack, which happened between 2.20am and 3.40am on Saturday, December 15, is urged to call Humberside Police on 101.
