Voted Female Vocalist of the Year in the British Blues Awards 2012, Chantel McGregor, will perform at the Riverhead Theatre on Friday, March 29.

Chantel also turned down deals from major labels to be true to her music, taking the bold step of forming her own record label Tis Rock Music, through which she released her debut album, Like No Other, in April 2011.
Universal Records, the world's second largest music company, invited Chantel to be part of a 100 Years of the Blues, released worldwide in September 2011, which includes Like No Other's, Help Me.
She was one of a select group of elite artists, that was involved in the BBC Introducing Masterclass 2012.
This initiative, is about supporting unsigned and undiscovered artists, by giving them access to, and insights from, high-profile musicians and industry professionals
She has also featured on a worldwide DVD celebrating 60 years of the Fender Telecaster alongside Jeff Beck, Keith Richards and the likes of Albert Lee.
