Video: Tower block demolished on Hull's Orchard Park estate
Orchard Park's 22-storey Bridgeman House tower block has been demolished.
Demolition of the flats was due to take place at 10am Sunday morning but there was a short delay as the exclusion zone was checked.
Specialist contractors used controlled explosives to bring down the high-rise building in Homethorpe.

Mark Braim of Dodthorpe was among crowds watching the demolition.
He said: "I go past there every day. Now it looks completely different - it looks like the apocalypse."
Three more tower blocks on the estate are set to be demolished in the coming months.
Two others, at Gorthorpe and Kinthorpe, will be refurbished as part of a new £15.3 million council regeneration programme involving the construction of around 100 new low-rise one and two-bed flats and new houses to rent.
Dave Fowlie, chairman of the Thorpes Residents' Association, said: "It is a bit like running an old car. Unless you make sure it's well maintained, eventually you will get to a point where you have no option but to get rid of it.
"They have been up for a long time and perhaps now it's time to move on."

“LucyLyon - 'notorious' was a favourite, almost mandatory, attachment by the HDM to the name of Vernon House which once stood alongside Bridgeman House. Perhaps there's a copyright issue.
The media may argue they are merely reproducing a common perception though such usage is also an effective tool for reinforcing social stigmatisation (which - IMHO - should not be a media role).”

“its an absolute disgrace ,hull city council created the problem , by letting to anyone never policed them , they could of been sold off and refurbished , the flats were ok it was the anti social people who will always cause problems werever they dwell, demolition was the easy option ,hull city council , keep demolishing houses in hull but replace with less than a third of new houses , private landlords will be rubbing there hands ,because now it will cost the council a lot more in housing benefit claims , lining the pockets of greedy landlords , sad day for hull”
