Violent drunk, 21, banned from going into the city centre on weekend nights
A VIOLENT drunk who left a hospital security guard with 39 injuries has been banned from the city centre at weekends.
Hull man Terry Dean, 21, has been given an antisocial behaviour order (Asbo) which also prevents him from going into any Tesco store in the city.

Under the terms of the order, Dean is also now banned from Hull Interchange in Ferensway and has been told he is not allowed to drink in public, unless in licensed premises.
Dean was handed the order at Hull Magistrates Court after he was convicted of assaulting a security guard at Hull Royal Infirmary, leaving him with a catalogue of injuries.
PC Russ Moore, the antisocial behaviour officer for Humberside Police, said he hopes the order will force Dean to sort himself out.
He said: "The order was necessary because he causes us a lot of problems in the city centre, especially around the Interchange area.
"It's clear he has a drink problem because all the problems occur when he is drunk."
Dean also has a string of previous convictions which were cited by police when applying for the Asbo.
He is now banned from the city centre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 7pm to 7am.
The order lasts for three years.

“Why, if someone has "...a string of previous convictions..." including with wounding with intent [see HDM link] are they allowed out? Also, what's the point of allowing 'A violent drunk' with '...a drink problem' to drink in licensed premises? Pubs in the city centre are open on a daytime too. No doubt his problems are also affecting his job.”
