Warning of coast flood

E YORKS: Residents along the east coast were warned about flooding this morning during high tide.

The warning was issued between 4.30am and 8.30am at Bridlington, Hornsea and the Humber Estuary from Spurn Point to Winestead Outfall.

An Environment Agency spokesman said: "Building tides and increased wind and wave activity may lead to wave overtopping."
