West Hull railway bridge removed
A derelict west Hull overhead railway bridge was today being removed.
Calvert Lane is closed while contractors carry out the work.
During the operation engineers are expected to use a 500-ton crane to lift the bridge structure.
The bridge once provided a link to the nearby Springhead locomotive depot, which closed in 1961.
