A WIFE has paid tribute to her "selfless" husband after he died suddenly at their home.
Paul White, 44, became known throughout Bridlington for the distinctive brain tattoo on his head.
His wife Jayne found him shortly after midnight on Wednesday morning at the family home in Burstall Hill.
She said: "He's the only thing besides our children I've ever cared about.

"I want people to know he was the nicest guy ever.
"All he thought about was other people."
Paul recently spoke to the Mail about his unusual scalp tattoo, which he had done just before he died.
Jayne said Paul had been drinking heavily in the run-up to his death because of problems in their marriage.
She suffers from chronic arthritis and other medical conditions and he was her full-time carer.
Jayne revealed Paul tried to take his own life several weeks ago with an overdose of her sleeping pills.
His wife fears he took them again on Tuesday night.
She said: "I came to bed and took some sleeping pills.
"I woke up in the early hours of the morning and Paul was lying next to me like he was cuddling me."
Mrs White got up to go to the toilet and realised his lips were blue.
She said: "I screamed for my boys to ring an ambulance.
"I tried to give him CPR. I tried so hard.
"One ambulance guy arrived and I started to panic."
Paul's wife was ushered out of the room as two more ambulance staff arrived.
Jayne said: "I didn't know what was going on, then they came and told me he was gone.
"All I wanted to do was come upstairs and see him.
"I couldn't believe he was dead. I just lay next to him and cuddled him and didn't want to let go."
The couple have two sons, Kyle, who will be 20 on January 16, and 15-year-old Kieren.
Jayne said: "My boys are the ones keeping me going.
"I've not stopped crying since I found him.
"We had a bad patch and we've not made it through, and I'm so gutted."
Jayne urged anyone struggling with alcohol problems and depression to look for support.
She said: "I would implore anyone to get help."
Paul got his first tattoo done in December 2011.
It was a monster on his spine.
This was followed up with the brain tattooed on his head just before last Christmas.
After having the tattoo done, Paul told the Mail: "I had been thinking about getting a tattoo for years and years.
"I wanted something different. I didn't want to walk down a street and see someone else with the same thing.
"I just woke up one morning and wanted a brain on my head."
His tattoo was popular with passers-by.
Paul said: "I get a lot of funny looks.
"A woman who was 92 looked at it. She was shocked and amazed."
